Supra Backstory:

Had an 82 MKII L-Type as the family car since I was 9 or so. I've always loved the car. Currently it's sitting out back not being driven very much (or at all for that matter). Not sure what to do with the car yet.

Pics of this car would make you guys cry. : P Sorry, I just don't have the money to take care of it right now.

My uncle has an 83 P-Type that I plan on buying off of him when I can get the money together. It's still a daily driver so it's relatively well maintained. And my plans amount to the normal 7M-GTE conversion and handling mods. That and just getting a clean "old school" look out of the car.

Pics of me when I used to pretend to have a moustache (56k users beware):

welcome, its good to see another L.A area mk2 owner. It seems like there are quite a few new mk2 owners joining the forum just resently.

Yeah, I've always had plans to do something with my (or a) MKII, I just never had an income.

It's been hard to find people from the LA area in forums. Glad to finally see one! I live between Canyon Country and a city closer to LA on the east side.

hahahaha Yeah, I didn't know until after I chose an sn. Maybe I should make a new one?

Aw, programming was alright (well assembly was a bitch), but I guess I can't really talk since I had four years of it in highschool to prepare.

Heh, yeah I'm 6'5".

I fit in the seat okay, I'm used to slouching in school (because people bitch at me that they can't see the board) so I just put the seat all the way back and recline it a bit and I'm good.

I don't know if anyone sells them or anyone would be willing to fab some, but it'd be nice to get longer chair rails ...
