I'm asking because I'm using a particular type of slave cylinder on my 1UZ project and I'm whoried I won't get enough play to properly engage/disengage the clutch.

All Toyota clutch master I could find has a 5/8" bore and I'd like to get at least a 3/4" bore. Someone told me to look at Willwood "universal" unit, but I'm really tired of modifying parts to make an other modifyed part fit and work right.

Anybody ever had that kind of stuff done on a Toyota unit?

PS For the curious about the 1UZ, see thread: http://www.celica-gts.com/forums/index.php?topic=15345.30

Land Cruiser from same year is plug and play and 3/4 if I remember properly. Took my Mikes car from "as hard as you can press it" to change gears to "not even half", so be careful.

From pics, it looks like it could very well work, now there is something new on my list of "parts to play around with".
