Hello,
I'm reaseaching shipping a 85 P-type from east coast to west. I'm looking for referrals, tips on, or bad experiences using automobile trasporters.
I've searched for this topic being discussed in the past and came up with nothing.
I've received several quotes for an open air carrier delivery in two weeks for around $800. Add on $1,000 for an enclosed transportation.

Any comments appreciated,

For best price, you can post it on the web and folks will bid on the transport. I can't remember the site. Even if you contract with somebody, it might get brokered to somebody else. $800 is not a bad rate.
