the black beater pissed me off the other day, so i spent my weekend making it run, and tonight, i finished putting bits on at 12 midnight, and started the old pig.
cranked a little, then away she went.
my first entirely solo engine swap, took me about 24 hours of actually working, because i dragged my ass on a lot of things, could have done it in about 12 if id kept on task.
i just need to figure out how to slow the idle, i think the rod from the throttle cable to the throttle body is too short, and it idles any where between 2000-3100 unless i pull the rod back a bit.
any suggestions how to fix it?
ive already tried to lengthen the rod, but i cant turn the lil nut on there.
