I received an order for several black decals, so I made a few more up. Consequently I have 3 fresh 'BLACK' decals available to the first to respond. These are the correct original color for light colored hatches. Included with these decals is a 'TURBO' decal that can be used instead of the 'TOYOTA' under the 'A'. Price is $33.50 including postage and Paypal fees.

Sorry, I've never done the XX decals. I could do them if I had artwork for them. Can anyone help with that? Pics? Scans? Price would be comparable.

Hi there. guess what I stumbled onto in eBay today? An ad for the '83 rear hatch decal! Not sure if Bob ever did this and don't mean to cut into his action, but there was never any follow-up on this thread. Anyway the rear hatch decal looked good from the eBay photo, is $14.25 + 2.50ship. That's the good news. Bad news is that it's in Malaysia. Now I have nothing against global commerce, but this seller only had 7 ratings, though all good. He offered it in various colors and backgrounds as well. However there were no option selections in the eBay checkout, so I am having to email the seller to be sure I get what I need. Sounded like a reasonable gamble for $15. We'll see. Note that I am NOT connected to this seller in any way. Just a CS newbie that is trying to fix up my '83 Supra that pretty much gathered only about 100 miles in the last ten years. Anyway I expect to get the sticker in a few weeks, so I'll let you all know how this eBay transaction works out. Bad part is the listing expires around then as well, so take your chances as you want (though I would guess he'd re-list). Hopefully in the end, this just might fill a "need" in our car lives.

Sorry, definitely would have if I could find what I wanted (even at a price premium). Your link also only shows custom decals, nice looking, but not the smaller '83 rear hatch original decal that I and some others seemed to want to replace. I did see that folks make '84+ full width decals but again this is not what we want to restore our original look. I really had not seen any other current availability for this from anyone, but if you could post that particular link, I'm sure people would appreciate. Perhaps even myself as I am still a bit nervous about what I'll get (if anything) but it was worth the $17 gamble to me. Might have been better to wait until I actually could confirm delivery and quality to make my post, but as I mentioned, this would likely be past the end of auction and anyway it is definitely caveat emptor for whomever might want this for their '82-'83 Supras.

I don't want to knock the competition, but the ebay decal is NOT an accurate repro with regard to color. Originals are gold with a BLACK checked pattern on top, not gold and copper. The third picture shown 'FOR PLACEMENT' appears to be a shot of an original decal NOT the 100% repro in the auction. (How can it be 100% if it's the wrong color?) The decals I offer for $17 + postage and paypal fees are gold and black. Here's a pic of mine:

I'm not suggesting the other guy's decal won't look good on your car, but it won't look as original as it could.
I have a few left and won't be making more if people prefer to get something 'close enough' for a couple of bucks less.

I bought one of the billboard "supra" with the little "toyota" under the A hatch decals from bshapton and it looks awesome. I don't think you can really compare the eBay ones to his. Very good reproduction decals and great seller. Looks just like the original one. Do you have more of the ones just above my reply? I like that style and might just put it on another hatch I might get. Let me know, thanks.

hate to burst your bubble DK, but those are definately not OEM or close to repro hatch stickers,Bsharp's are the right on the money and from what i've heard he has done great work in the past with the MKII decals. I'll be buying one by the end of the week, save me one bsharpton.

Yes, I have 2 remaining. Plus I have 3 or 4 that are not quite the correct color, they are a bit more yellowish. (I can offer those at a discount if anyone is interested.)

BTW - I thought I should follow up. I connected with Bob Shapton and he indeed had a couple '83 type rear hatch decals left. As usual in the forum feedback for him, he delivered quickly and the decal looks great, much more like the OEM decal with cross-hatched lettering fill (whereas the Malaysian replica I received, though decent looking, had non-authentic solid copper color letter fill, and of course I have no idea if the foreign materials will last exposed on the car). So if anyone else wants one, I'd recommend you do it quick as I think Bob may only have one of these particular decals left in stock. I guess I can just throw the Malaysian knock off on my garage wall.
Anyway, thanks again to Bob and the CS "family".
