KVR Carbon/Fiber pads are available. From what I have heard in the past, the KVR's are quiet, don't emit tons brake dust onto your wheels & they work just fine when cold (they don't need to be warmed up to work effectively). I have a set of KVR's waiting for install for the MKII when my current set of OE Toyota pads wear out & I will purchase a set for the MKI when the time comes (they are still available for the MKI & they actually cost LESS than a set of Toyota OE pads).
Several peeps here on the forums & the Yahoo list are using them.
