I need to get some new calipers for my 85...any suggestions of which brand would be good for them.

Thanks

For stock calipers I'd just suggest rebuilding them. I think the caliper rebuild kits from Toyota are like $20-30 (enough to do both corners). There are an easy job to do. The only thing special you really need is compressed air to pop the piston out.

Big Brake no go, need just new calipers

The car this is for is my current daily driver/autoX mobile

Unfortunately the big brake kit is too much of an investment for this car atm as I do not have the money for all the stuff for the conversion, mainly the rims

Am trying to save for a 7mgte conversion for my red 85 and then rebuilding a 5M and a 6m engine to get all 3 cars going

when i did the brakes on my 84 i found that it was less hassle and only about 5-10 dollars more per caliper to just buy rebuilt calipers, plus i got the parts in a day where the rebuild stuff would have taken about a week to get in.
