http://www.eastwoodcompany.com and search for "vinyl dye". I use a product made by the SEM company - they have plenty of colors including black. It works just as well on carpet as it does on vinyls and plastics. Check out the pix:
Yea, I got the spray off the link also...your seats look very nice =] I like em! I need to do my seats, and carpet...maybe I'll be brave if my carpet and seats come out good, and do my door panels also 8)
Wow, is this wanting an all black car really this common? I'm doing the same thing (interrior is pretty bad, and I figured since I need to strip or restore most of it anyway, it would look better in black). Now I'm wondering if I should stick with my blue interrior (85 blue leather)
But black is the best color on a car you know that! Well
I want everything to be black except for the lights, which all neons I put on and all my lights will have atleast a green tint if not green in total Anyone know where I can get and how much if they are available for the rear tail-light covers...I love black 8)
My girlfriend is forever watching stupid shows like "trading spaces" and stuff of that sort. I told her what I wanted to do with my interior(make it all black) and she told me she saw on the show that there is "fabric paint" out. She says it's like a liquid that you actually paint brush on, and it actually comes out really well, no paint feel, looks good, and suspose to last for a very long time. If anyone knows where I may be able to pick some up(home depot, sherman williams, online, ect.) give me some advice.
Yeah, Ive tried the krylon paint on my interior rear quarter panel. It was red and the rest of my car is black/blue interior so i got some of that black krylon paint. Sprayed it on a couple times and its awesome. The quarter panel looks brand new, and the krylon cant be scratched off. Truely amazing spraypaint in a can!
