This is a link to scanned images for the Celica Supra Mark II Sales Brochures
Generally, they are US brochures. Hopefully, more can be found and added.

Early magazine articles on the Mark II

The links are live, but load quite slowly and sometimes time out. You may have to hit the 'reload' button several times before the brochures load.

The link to this archive was found and archived by '82supra on 20-April-2013

The original thread indicates that the brochures were scanned by CELICA GTS who does not seem to be on the Forum any longer.

Hats off to the people who took the time to save these.

We need to create a new forum sub-section called "Reference Material" or something similar.

Links like this could be stored there....

These were accessible at one time from the forums, many of the press photos and sales brochures were from members files, GregG, Tanya, me and other OGs etc...

They absolutely were and I want to make sure that people don't think it was me that created them!
I came across the link to them yesterday and asked the Forum Admin to put them in the FAQ and make them a sticky so that they won't disappear soon.
I'm sure a lot of newer forum members would find the sales brochures interesting.

The cars and the sales brochures are older than a lot of the forum members!!!

Especially with the Mark V Supra being announced and released tomorrow, it seems like a perfect time to review the sales brochures and magazine articles to remember just how big an impact the Mark II Celica Supra made on the automotive scene in the early 1980's.

Hopefully the Mark V will make as big an impact.

Without the link being made a sticky, the original posts that linked to them get old and harder to find using search tools. Us older forum members always tell new members to use the search tools, but when I tried to use them to find these brochures, I had a whale of a difficult time.

Thanks to all the original forum members who contributed these brochures and articles we can all make use of them again.

Hopefully other members will make other area brochures available and add to this link. I have some Canadian Sales Brochures which are somewhat different and use different terminology. The P Type was called the Toyota Celica Supra GTS in Canada. When Americans see Canadian cars with these decals they assume that someone took decals from a Celica GTS and added them to a car.

I'm not sure the of the best way to save these brochures so they can be accessed long term.

Ok, I just send another mail to this address.
As the file is big, it may take some time to receive it.

I have the French brochure.
Just need to scan all the pages.
Domi,

That brochure is fabulous!

That brochure is so much more stylish than the American or Canadian Sales brochures.
What year was this brochure?
The women's fashions were really interesting.

The stereotypes about French style sure seem to be true.

Wow! I didn't realize you had this blog and I sure didn't know you had the brochures here.
The server response is excellent by comparison.

You have a well designed site.

Very impressive

Dale
Thanks!

Also it looks to be 1984 in year for the French brochure I believe

I *think* I have the Norwegian, or, at least I have two brochures, I will try to find them. They are at least European!

Yup, two similar, Norwegian and English versions. (Printed in Japan, the english one.) Currently scanning, but I think I'll try with another scanner..
Also, one for the whole Celica range, Supra/Liftback/Coupe. This last one is a funny format, so I have to work on it a bit!
Comin real soon!
