cs.com was established exactly 10 years from today. We had some stuff going in the mid-late 90s via email lists and Geocities websites, but the actual URL was established 4/4/2000. Its cool to see that a number of the original members are still here! Some have moved on, but we have picked up many great members over the years. Thanks for everything!

Happy birthday CS.com, and congrats on achieving the decade milestone.

I have often wondered, how many MKII's would be gone, how much money has been spent on restoration, upgrades, and parts for repairs (the figure is immense I'm sure), and how many members that still own MKII's with major mods would be driving bone stock MKII's today if this forum did not exist?

The knowledge is all here, and the founder along with members have made it what it is today (the best source for Celica Supra information, and comradery among those who own them, or wish to) for which many are grateful. It's great to be a part of it today, and hopefully many years to come.

It was the Spring of 1997 when I did an internet search on the word SUPRA.

Thats when a photo of Reg Riemer's car appeared on my screen. Up til that moment, I thought I was the only person who actually gave a shit about these cars. Before that, my high school and college buddies just laughed at me.

From Reg's site, I found Supras.com which then led me to the first NE Meet in Rising Sun, MD. Thats where I first met this punky little kid from Philly named Mike Malloy.

I cant tell you if that was a blessing or a curse, but the rest is history.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CS... each and every one of us is responsible for the success of this place... So congratulate yourselves!!!

Wow! Where has all the time gone? But yes, kudos for a great forum. I was a bit slow to abandon the old email list and move to forums but now cs.com is like the cell phone. Hard to believe how I ever got along without it. But beyond the technology, its the great friends I've met along the way. I can find Corvette and Mustang fans right here at home, but I likely would not have made trips to visit places like Philadelphia, Toronto, Las Vegas, Albuquerque, Tulsa, Los Angeles, San Diego, Houston, etc. had it not been for the great people I've met via this forum who share my odd interest in this seldom seen little foreign car.

G, that's about the sametime I did the search from work. Didn't have a decent PC with internet yet. Reg's car came up and further searching revealed your museum piece. IIRC it had 25k miles and still remember the phtos from that page. I was thinking "25k miles, that guy is hard core!" lol

But, it was the text and .jpg crack cocaine on Reg's page which gave me hope for the Mk2. After reading it 157 times, I knew the 7mgte mk2 could be a reality for me. ~2.5 years later it was.

Time sure flies!
