Its a fuse...... All those things that dont work all of the sudden use one fuse.

Did you ground your stereo to the metal where the cigarette lighter is grounded, or to the factory stereo ground?

i agree... fuses sometimes burn at one end, where its just under the plastic... they arent supposed to, but oh well.

ive had a lil electronic problem lately, so im just gonna replace all my fuses, and the fusable links...
its cheap, so why not :)
then once you remove em, check them with a multimeter, the good ones, keep, the bad ones, toss.

i cant remember off the top of my head, i think a 7.5 watt, but it should say on the fuse panel cover.

if not, figure out what color it is, and check other fuses of the same color.

iirc, yellow is 20
blue is 10
green is 15
and red is 7.5

there are others of course, but thats just what i can remember, and its hazy at that.

not to sound mean, but fuses aren't in watts....lol just thought i'd let ya know...they are in amps......and when the amperage excedes the limit of the fuse they go "pop"....lol have a nice day everyone.... :idea:
