Note: used a 3/8" spacer under bar to clear a valve (on back of plenum - '82 US model).
Edit: 3/8" was just barely enough to clear the valve on back of the efi ('82), so Mitch had his fabricator do me up a set of 1/4" stacking spacers
Plenty of clearance now...even sits below the Chimpy
I'm definitely impressed with the geometry of this thing! :mm_emthup
I hear ya, but no plans ATM to pretty up the engine bay besides adding that sexy strut bar.
I have to say though, beyond the look, it def improves handling! I took the car thru some serious paces today, took tight corners at speeds that I wouldn't even have been able to hold before. I guess I had so much fun that a seam between one of the pressed dimples on the strut tower started to separate...call it growing pains, lol.
Is there any still around? Ive watched this for some time and would be interested to purchase but worried about clearance on a jz motor with single turbo? Any photos to clear this concern? Im aware you mentioned it will clear the jz motors but is it for standard configuration? My other problem is that im in Australia so shipping costs?....
