hi, i have a 82 supra, in the process of converting it to a 5 speed. was wondering if the 7mgte or 7mge pressur plate and clutch would work on my flywheel? any imput would be great

THe clutch and pressure plate off of a 7MGE will work. The clutch and pressure plate off of a 7mgTe will NOT work.

is there any benifet to useing a 7mge clutch set?

The 89+ 7MGE clutch has a slightly stronger pressure plate.

if your going with an aftermarket clutch i dont' think it would matter anyways, just get an upgraded stronger clutch for our cars, and you'd be set.....
