hey all,
i was wondering if anyone knew off hand what the threading in the t-stat housing for the cold start timer switch and the coolant temp sender were. i know they are not sae or british pipe threads so i'm guessing they're just metric. the cold-start timer is most likely 16mm diameter as i remember it being really close to 3/8" npt. anyone know or wanna guess the pitch? i vaguely remember the 3/8" npt having a few more threads so i'm guessing it's 1.5mm but i'm not sure.

anyone know about the coolant temp sender? it's small but i can't remember if it was 10 or 12mm. thanks a lot for any help, i don't have my car with me but as always i need to order adapters so i can hopefully get it running over the columbus day weekend when i'm home!! i finally found a place selling cheap metric male to 1/8" npt female adapters online (www.egauges.com... very good autometer, vdo and isspro gauge prices there, btw).

thanks,
shiva

Pretty sure they are all 3/8 NPT.
they're not quite 3/8" npt... this summer i compared a 3/8" npt gm coolant temp sensor to the cold start switch, it was a bit different. and the coolant temp sesnor is a lot smaller than the cold start switch. thanks for the help, though.
