The only silver color schemes at least in the US were Super Silver code 150 and Silver/Blue two tone (2U4 IIRC). Straight silver should be grey cloth or grey leather. Some of the early car 82 or 83 had a silver and gray two tone. Blue interior should only be in white and cars with blue on the outside.
color question
i inquired about a mkii for sale recently. its a pretty far drive so before i make it id like to be sure its a real factory paint setup. its an 85. the guy says its dark gray and silver 2 tone. ive never seen one. whats throwing me off is he says it has blue interior. why would a gray mkii have blue interior? i know the dark blue and silver 2 tone had blue interior. anyone have any info on this?

thats what i figured. its def an 85, so the guy is prolly color blind. thanks for the info.
