Guys and gals, having trouble with my cruise control. Since the rebuild 6 months ago, it hasn't worked. All wiring and vacuum hose is hooked up to the actuator in the engine bay, and the lights in the switch turn on when it's turned on, but it doesn't do anything to the engine? could it be the switch that is on the brake pedal(there isn't one on the clutch yet(not factory))?

Hey Cossie,

Did you join the wires that lead from the gearbox (auto). It could be because the car thinks it is in park, reverse, or neutral?

Let me how you go, I have the wiring diagram of the cruise control if you need it.

If you need help of the Easter Holidays to fix it I'll be more then happy to help

Cheers.

Hey cossie, this is kinda offtopic, but could you get us some pics of your dual exhaust?

And check the sensor on the brake pedal. Run a multimeter through that badboy and see if its switching. Mine in my celica never sent the "brake released" signal to the cruise control... so i just bought a supra instead. =)
