I'm the proud owner of an 85 6mge equipt supra. I'm sporting tokico's(front and back) freshly and completely rebuilt 6mge, ported and polished match ported intake and exhuast. 9mm magnicore wires, 2.50 cat back, ansa muffler, short close ratio shifter, michelin tires, hks filter. three days after i completed the car i pulled up next to a 91 crx si at a light in phoenix. i had two friends in the car, one who is considerably large and he noted the car next to us. apon seeing the car i noted the considerable weight difference in the honda's favor, reved and the little bastard next to me laughed from his dropped, rimmed and mufflered piece of honda shit. i was filled with anticipation for my first street race in my new supra. when that light turned i ran that f*&king car to the max and destroyed his little bitch ass by at least three car lengths. he soon turned down some side street and retreated home to turn his smile up side down to a sadened frown.

Nice kill!! :zanksaho: ha ha. That's one reason I put the a fresh 6M in my car. Only I haven't raced anyone yet cause I'm still breaking it in. Also did you change the springs when you did your tockicos?

hondas are worthless. ill never forget the look on this one guys face. he was driving a white type r integra. we were headed north on dale mabry. it is 3 lanes wide each direction. well. he was in the far right lane which was empty for a long way ahead and i was in the middle behind a mini van and the left lane was empty as well as the center lane in front of the van. he blipped the gas a little and i smiled at him. he down shifted and took off. i droped to second and hit it and changed to the left lane. i shifted to third just as i was passing the van and then close to 4th i looked back and he was so far back it was like he didnt race. i moved to the middle lane and stopped at the next light. he pulled next to me in the far left lane and the look on his face was awesome. he asked what i did to the car, i smiled and said its a stock motor with intake and exhuast(it was a stock 7mgte with hks smf and 3in exshaust so it wasnt a lie. hehehe) and i said i thought you were trying to race so i took off. and he said i was trying, your car is fast as shit. lol. i couldnt beleive he openly admited i wasted him. from ~40mph-~80mph i got a good 5-6 lengths on him. it was sad. the supercharged saleen i raced when i first finished the swap put up more of a fight, i only got him by ~2 cars.

To be honest, here in California...I don't think I've ever seen a 2nd Gen CRX Si - and I know for sure I've never driven one.

I guess, regardless of HP, I just don't take Hondas seriously. I'm more frightened of the cars in my Maisto 1/18 scale car collection.

I'll be the first to admit, I like S2000s (torqueless though they may be). That is a Honda (though not FWD, thankefully). Not really fast, so much as quick and fun. OK, I just said I like a Honda (putting on flame suit now :wink: )

Sidman, I refuse to belive you don't have crxs in Cali, in fact I bet you see at least one every day. They don't make alot of hp, but when you only weigh 2000 pounds you don't need to. One of the best handling fwd cars out there and a blast to drive. Mostly because the front and rear wheels are so close together you don't get as many of the bad effects of fwd. The newer civic 160hp motors go in without too much problem, that makes for a craaaazy ride. Stock their akin to a mk2 with 200 hp, with a b16 that would be a 240hp mk2, and you still get about 40mpg on the highway. You've got to appreciate that at least .

I have never seen a 2nd Gen CRX Si - to the best of my knowledge, there are no Si models around here. Of COURSE I've seen a 2nd Gen CRX - they are a plentiful as dumb little VW New Beetles here. Every genuine ricer has one.

I'm sorry about my opinion about Hondas...but nevertheless, it's my opinion. The only way I'll ever be caught dead in one is if a gang member shoots me and tosses my body in the back end of the POS.
