OK, i did a search cause i thought this would be a comon thread but i didnt find anything...so sorry if this was already asked....

I have alittle bit of warpage on my dash......it is located where my dashboard meets the what im going to call steering wheel hood scoop :) the section that comes out over ur speedo and all those goodies. it has warped just alittle bit, not much and there is also some color change. what would be the best way for me to fix this? i plan on repainting my dash, should i just wait untill than or is there something i can do...cause it really bugs me when im looking down the road....and also....another question....

The center where the consel is between the front seats...has anyone ever tried to or wanted to raise it alittle bit? i like it when the consels sit higher, it gives me a since of security  does anyone have any ideas about how i could get this to sit about an inch or 2 higher than what it does now?? thanks!

Dashes can warp from excessive heat like mabe parked out in the desert sun for 20 years. My guess is you would be best to locate a replacement dash from one of our gurus in the great, cloudy, cool, pacific northwest. As to your console, one idea might be to build or adapt a smaller second compartment where the armrest pad is. My LandCruiser has a similar design with a big compartment, capped by a smaller hinged compartment, capped by the armrest pad itself.

LOL!!!!!!

Normally that would be the case..... I could possibly snag one..

Until I discovered that Senor L-Type has a Terra Cotta interior... And all of the TC dash pads up here look like walking crap... :p :p And the insturment cluster hoods don't look any better. :(

But we have a abundance of Black ones up here... Not as many nice Blue or Maroon ones...Terra Cotta.... it's going to be awhile... :p

well, if you want to raise your console, then why not put some sort of lifting blocks under it?

you could always cut it just behind the E-brake, and mold it in with putty after adding an adaptor underneath.

OR, if your adventurous, take your console, or a spare from the junk yard, and hack it up and glue it back together all customized to your liking.

after i did that, id mold it in fiberglas for a couple reasons:
A) if it ever breaks, which it will, just depends how long
B) in case its popular and tons of people want to buy a copy
C) in case you ever sell the car.

My mom's '85 Camry had the same thing. I'm thinking Camry's had the same interior colours available as Supras. (All her interior plastics were the same colour as mine at least, but the carpet was darker.) That could make things easier for you if you can find a terra cotta Camry.
