An analog to digital should work as long as you get the harness with it. It is not a plug and play item. But if you get the harness with it, and speedo cable. You should be good.
You'll also need to switch fuel and oil pressure senders. They both have different part #s depending on the dash. I'd stay with the analog dash myself.
I have digital in my car and wished it was analogue like my previous two Supras. Much nicer in analogue.
The switch can be done with the harness and sending units. I will not change mine to keep it close to the way it was built, but may add analogue gages for oil pressure and voltage etc.
