Having the right tool always makes a job go easier. I bought one of those Universal Ball Joint Kits off amazon with the giant monster c-clamp and an assortment of cups of various shapes/diameters. I've used it on a couple of cars so far but not yet the Supra. It seems its not as "universal" as the name suggests as the cups aren't often just the right size. I've had an incident using a socket tho. Sockets are made of a more brittle kind of metal and tend to break apart under pressure, sometimes sending loose parts across the shop or straight down onto my big toe. Instead I bought an Assortment of Press Sleeves that come in 2mm diameter increments. I've gotten a lot of mileage out of that set.
