i have the complete tear down book for my 86, but not the 89 7mgte i am putting in it ha.. but i need the bolt pattern for the head, and the main berrings. and torque specs if anyone knows that, i have a titan 1.4mm mhg. and the specs on cam to valve tolerances. mine ranges from .009-.012 thousands. and the main/rod berring tolerances also.. IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!!!:thumbsup:

Torque the new headbolts/ARPs to ~80 ft/lbs. The TSRM is full of lie and fail when it comes to those specs. That's one of the biggest reasons the 7M HG failed so often.

yea its got arps, and i was going to go round 90 ft/lbs. is the crank and rod ends right on there? crank main caps at 75 ft/lbs. and rod ends at 57 ft/lbs. or so??

I haven't had any problems with other torque specs in the TSRM. AFAIK, the head bolt specs are the only fail.

Just a quick note, Mike has the numbers correct for the ARP's but here is a little more:

If using the ARP moly lube with the APR head studs torque to 80 ft/lbs
If using oil as a lube torque to 110 ft/lbs

So your idea of torquing to 90 ft lbs is very reasonable.
