The car been sitting up for many years and I'm beginning a restoration of her. One problem is that my sunroof is dragging. It will open/close but only with assistance (by hand). The motor seems to be fine. It appears to be dragging. I've taken the sunroof out and have exposed the guide rails but I'm at a loss what to do next. Any ideas? :?

Sounds like you'll need to remove the cables and grease them real good. Remove the rails together with the drive assembly (the black front part - they all come out together). Then remove the rails from the drive and the cables pull out.

This is one of those perfect examples of taking something apart, putting it back together, and it works.
Lubricate the cables, runners and guides and you should be goog to go.
Have you recently replaced your sunroof gasket ?? That thing is a sticky MOFO
