looks like a good deal

I paid $1000 for my 82 L type with 143,000, but it had some accident damage to the front passenger corner. The friend I bought it from had got it for $2500, but that was pre accident!

I paid significantly more for my '85P but it only has 76K miles on it, and a real pristine interior, and minimal rust. I'd say you did pretty well, though! Looks good in the three pictures he provides. You definitely have MSS - this would be your 3rd Supra? I wouldn't have room for another car!! I guess Phil Dupler is right, it's an expensive habit!!

If you're referring to the expense of my new 4-car garage, it just payed for itself overnight when the city council passed an ordinance limiting accessory buildings in A-5 single-family zoning to no more than 400 square feet. All the suburbs already had such limitations, but now if you wanted a big backyard shop anywhere in the metro area, you'd have to pay me whatever I might want for mine because you ain't building one like it no more. Real estate is rarely a bad investment and of course MSS requires lots of it so mabe MSS isn't such a bad thing afterall.
