When I got my car, the EGR modulator was disconnected and lost in the trunk and there was no check valve with air filter attached to the dashpot diaphragm. Well I finally found a check valve and filter, but they are old and used so the filter is really dirty. I'm pretty sure the EGR modulator works fine and I reattached it, but it also has an old, dirty filter.

What can I use to replace these filters? I havent been able to find any new filters for sale anywhere, and I think the manual recommends cleaning them with the air compressor, but if I do that I'm pretty sure they will just fall apart? What do you guys use? I appreciate any and all ideas!

No filter replacement. Use cotton balls and shove in there. It works.
