I have been looking to put all new brakes on my car, an 85 P-type, but I live in Kansas. I can find all of the main pads fine, but the shoes for the emergency brakes are almost nonexistant. I called the only Toyota dealer in town and they want $105 for the four shoes. I'm sure I can get them cheaper somewhere else, can somebody help me? :?

They sell wholesale, the shipping charges might eat up the savings. I looked around and they are not available from an aftermarket supplier., that I found.

How bad are you e-brake shoes ? they only have about 1/8" of material when new.
Check out a local "brake+clutch" supplier for large trucks. Many of them re-line shoes in house, and usually can do it for a fairly reasonable cost.HTH

Have you tried calling Jeff Watson at Jay Marks Toyota? Tell him you're a member of SOGI, and you'll get a very respectable discount. The number is 800-327-2087

Not sure what the final price will be, but it will likely be less than $105.
