Im also having a problem with my emergency break. the knob had just decided to fly off and i cant seem to get it back on....when i try to screw it back on...it doesnt wanna tread with the bolt that is located inside....and on the bolt...there is like a soft brown ring...i think it may have been a peice of the knob.....does anyone know how i can get it fixed? i just need to figure out a way to get the knob to stick onto the bolt...thank you again!

I had the same thing happen once. I just used some very long, thin needle nose pliers and grabbed the ring still attached to the metal rod and then unscrewed it with the pliers. A little epoxy and 24 hours later it screwed back on and easily lasted until I found a new knob.

Thanks....i just tried that, and my ring just broke into like 3 little peices, would it be ok just to use some epoxy on the inside of the knob....pull the rod out and stick the knob on the rod and wait for it to dry?

From what I recall that little button can be bought for a buck or two at the dealer.
