i have this 1uz fe v8 engine from my old car and it’s still good but im getting another car and still want the engine and i want to do an engine swap. probably into a 4 door sedan or an old mustang. just wondering where to start like what do i need

1. Probably want to figure which transmission you want to use. Then get adapter-plates and/or bell-housings made. Here's custom bellhousing to mate 1UZ to R154 trans. Note multi-plate Tilton clutch

2. motor-mounts? Can you cut & weld? Need to connect engine to chassis.

3. wiring & EFI would be easiest. Just get entire harness that matches your 1UZ. Note there are different generations and variations, so make sure it matches engine exactly. Will need dash as well.
