Hi I want to ask if anyone knows where to get the weather strips for a 1985 Supra door? I’d assume it’s hard or impossible to find but if anyone knows a substitution like a different car models weather strip or something to kinda make the outline look the same all the way around, please let me know. It is just a piece of plastic but I need ideas on what to do haha. Thankyou
(First post and I’m new to cars so I have pictures to help)

Strip off all the plastic, scuff with 3M red pad, hit it with adhesion promoter, then black primer and finally 3-7 thin coats of trim paint in semi-gloss black.
Hi Jeremy. How do you strip off the paint? I tried blasting it from my trims but..... no luck! is this rubberized paint on the trims?
This is plastic. I picked away at it while watching TV using my nails. I did all the front windshield trim and made a hell of a mess because I WAS watching TV and missed the trash bag some of the time.

The side trims are similar. Allot of the time the plastic comes off in little sheets. Just watch the end caps. They should be separate but don't tweak them too hard as you will need them for the final finish.
