I liked The House on Haunted Hill with the insane asylum, that creeped me out, and I don't usually spook, but the way some of the camera movements were freaked me out

The one that scared me the most was Nightmare on Elm Street (original). I was real young when it came out and it scared the bejesus outta me. First scary movie I ever watched too. Halloween was pretty scary. So was Blair Witch. Also, Friday the 13th part 2 was cool. Not so scary but still cool were Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer.

I love Final Destination 1 & 2. I laughed my $%^ off at #2 (yeah I'm a little sadistic :) ). The BBQ at the end was great, totally unexpected. You can't top the bus in the 1st one though. I liked Elm Street #1 & 4. I loved the dude on the bike in #4, "Do you feel the need for speed!!!" I never got into the Friday the 13th movies, they kind of became a joke after awhile. That trucker dude at the beginning of 13 Ghosts was bad$#% . The Ring was good but I didn't consider it a horror movie myself, its more of a mystery than anything. The sublimal type stuff was great in that movie. I can't believe you actually found the Blair Witch project scary Christian. I'm still pissed off about seeing that movie in the theater. I think Halloween 1 was about the scariest I've seen though. Mike Myers is just creepy as hell and the music just makes the movie.

Well, it was scary when I first watched it. I saw it when it was in select theaters, and the only info on it was that it was actual footage of missing kids, blah blah blah. Seeing it with that in mind made it scary and especially the ending. Now that I've seen it knowing some kids made it for $5.75 makes it pretty lame.

i'd agree about blair which that if you didn't know a few kids made it and stuff then it would seem scarier. you couldn't really see the very ending in the theaters i couldn't figut out what i was seeing till it was on movie. but i like alot of the other movie's you guys have mentioned and gals. i havn't really seen most of them so i wanna go rent them and watch them thats why i posted this i don't know what good horror's their are out their i like the old old school horror movie's like psycho and stuff like that their was a movie that came out a few months before psycho which was worse than psycho but was banned because critics said it was the most disgusting thing they ever seen and everything and when psycho came out they didn't have critics review it they just released it. well the name of the movie i'm talking about is called "peeping tom" it's not the porn one lol but it was banned everywhere for about 35 years or something crasy like that and is still banned in some countries but you can actually rent or buy it.

I watched the ring in a theater completely alone. It was the 12:30 showing on a tuesday night, just me, in the middle of the theater, scared out of my mind. So yea, that one.

Also, 28days later is a great horror flick. Not so much scary as it is plot + char developement + resulting finale'.

Session9 is a badass movie. Watch it 2 or 3 times and you will pick up on all sorts of things you missed the first time around. Great view into multiple personality syndrome.

House on haunted hill was pretty scary due to some of the camera angles and movements too. EEEK!

im sure youve all heard of them, but all the Halloween movies are definitely my favorite. ive seen each one about 5 or 6 times each, and michael myers is definitely the best of them all (better than jason, freddy, etc.)

hey, how come no one has mentioned the silence of the lambs? that is a classic. hannibal was pretty good too. havent seen the dragon yet. as for freddy vs. jason, a bunch of it was pretty damned funny, but the fight scenes between jason and freddy were badass.

hah, I don't think we'll ever know who'll win a fight between the two, we might have a series of that now...
