Hello I'm looking for a passenger rear fender flare for my 82 p type, car is black but don't mind painting long as it's in good shape, will drive to pickup if within 100 miles of Oklahoma, thanks for reading.
I'll message you in a couple of hours thanks for the reply.I have one and (black) and willing to ship if you can handle the cost of shipping. PM your email
I'll check it out,but mine blew apart from a blown tire so it doesn't exist anymore.I did this write up on how to repair Flare Studs... with Stainless steel... so they will never rust out/break off again...
Check it out...
FLARE STUD REPAIR .... NO NEED TO THROW PERFECTLY GOOD FLARES OUT | Toyota Celica Supra Forum
Cheers,
Understood... but U should do this to the replacement Flare that U are putting on... & ANY time U have a Flare off (ie: Painting or whatever ) It's possibly due to me being in Canada with Snow in the Winter....put I've pretty much NEVER had all the nuts come off cleaning... even though I soak them for a cpl days in a Good quality (NOT WD40 !! ) Penetrating Oil.I'll check it out,but mine blew apart from a blown tire so it doesn't exist anymore.
Great write up!I'll certainly use this info when I find a flare, but I've been searching for a month and still nothing, there's only 1 on eBay and it's in ratchet condition and over priced, so fingers crossed soon I can find one hopefully 🙏.Understood... but U should do this to the replacement Flare that U are putting on... & ANY time U have a Flare off (ie: Painting or whatever ) It's possibly due to me being in Canada with Snow in the Winter....put I've pretty much NEVER had all the nuts come off cleaning... even though I soak them for a cpl days in a Good quality (NOT WD40 !! ) Penetrating Oil.
At least ONE stud always breaks off... & if U follow how I've done things (with Stainless Steel bolts & nuts) ... in another 35 years...the Flares will STILL come off easily....
Cheers,
I've got a bunch of Flares in good condition... However .. even tho they only weigh like 5 lbs... (the Industrial Cardboard I put around the Flare to Protect it... actually weighs MORE than the actual Flare ) ... the Shipping fr Canada is Retarded (excuse me for not being Politically correct )Great write up!I'll certainly use this info when I find a flare, but I've been searching for a month and still nothing, there's only 1 on eBay and it's in ratchet condition and over priced, so fingers crossed soon I can find one hopefully 🙏.
I;ll check into it... & try & get back to you ... in a couple of days...Funny Question: How much would shipping including the prize to Germany would be? There are not that many parts for the Celica Supra here in Germany.
Can I get a quote on a black passenger rear flare? I'm in Tulsa Oklahoma.I've got a bunch of Flares in good condition... However .. even tho they only weigh like 5 lbs... Basically the Shipping companies go by Cubic Area ... that it takes up... & this includes the Area that the actual Road wheel takes up.. (in other words... the middle of the "C" that the Flare makes...)
So keep me in mind as a Plan B... if U don't find anything in decent Condition... that's closer to U ... so the shipping is cheaper...
Cheers,
