If anyone is interseted I am going to try and put together a list of fiberglass body parts for the mk2. Just list what it is you would like to see and I will look into getting carbonfibrefx to manufacture them. Hopefully we can get a few good group buys going out of this. reply with a new idea or if you would be interested in one that is already listedl, that way I can gauge the leve of interest in each piece.

There was some discussion on the Yahoo site in the past few days regarding fiberglass sunroof panels...since they seem to rust out all the time. I would also be interested in the header panel and the headlight covers in either fiberglass or carbon fiber.

The header panel is just in front of the hood and lights, they are often very difficult to find in good condition due to rock chips and front end collisions. The CelicaSupra front emblem is mounted on the header panel.

Guys, CFX will do what they can. A hatch, sunroof and oem side skirts have been in the plans for quite awhile. Its just a matter of money and time, and if its finacially worth the effort on their part. We're lucky to have a company that is so dedicated to supras and willing to make stuff for our cars, but they have to make money too and the mk2 is hardly a cash cow. I'll keep you guys fully up to date with whats available as it comes up.

Yes I know what they are, but how are you going to replace them?? It's not like replacing a hood or hatch..

I think they are refering to the actual rocker mouldings and not the rocker panels themselves. I didn't even know that those rocker moulding could get rusted. To bad most of them get destroyed by the fork lift at wrecking yards here.

I like the hood they have but if they could make one that was cowl induction instead of the front scoop I think that would look cleaner. 8)

we did play with cowl induction a little with the cfx hoods when were developing them actually. Unless cooling is all your after a cowl vent is rather useless. It would be very hard and messy to run an intake pipe up to a cowl vent due to the afm and filter.

In climates with a decent amount of rain or snow, those sideskirts rust out like nuts, worse then the impact stripping up here.

rear quarter panels would be awsome, new quarters from toyota are 1000 each and theres lots of people with rusted quarters, something your could pop rivit on and lay some fiberglass on over top, that would mean i wouldn't have to sell my car and buy a different one,

I'm in for a hatch and the rocker mouldings. I don't need either right now, but that wouldn't keep me from buying them right now if I could get them in fiberglass.

How about a rear bottom quarter that mounts from the rear belt molding holes or that are one piece with the bumper. ( like alot of new cars)
