Hi everyone

As many of you know, I am Andy Sommerville from New Zealand. I am currently on a 5 month working holiday to the U.S. :usa I am probably best known to most of you as the author of the 7MGTE Conversion website.

I have been having a fantastic time so far staying with Leslie Grover in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I have written a diary of my adventures so far, and have taken a number of digital pictures.

I would like to meet up with as many of you in the group as I can while I'm here in the U.S. Let me kow if you would like to meet up and where in the U.S. you live. Les and I are very keen to meet up with a group of you from the West Coast sometime over the Christmas holidays. :x-mas:

Chris, you're going to be in Vegas this weekend? Sweet!!!!! I was taking off this Friday for there, so'll I'll be there the 19th-22nd. Its like a secret MkII meeting or something . I'm staying at the Luxor. I was going to go New Years, but the $400 a day price tag was a little steep.

Sounds like there might be a pretty good gathering in Vegas this weekend. Les and I will be there for sure if there will be some chance to meet up with all you guys.

Les and I can head over on Friday the 19th. Jim Coble, do you have enough room for everybody :lol:

There should be no problem going to LA afterward, but it would be great to all meet up at once in Vegas. Might be up to ten of us if everyone is keen for 19th-22nd-ish.

BTW, my FORD shirt is a sports jersey for a New Zealand Rugby team. Ford is the sponsor of the team. No I do not drive or like Ford.

Aaron Ingles will be in Vegas also???? Geez.... And here I just thought I was going to a Table Tennis Tournament @ the Vegas Convention Center (the U.S. Nationals), and now it's turning into a more or less impromptu MKII Supra meet (both Supra's will be @ home unfortunately). Looks like I may have to bring the pictures.

I "might" be free Friday evening (maybe, GF is flying in that evening), Saturday evening is out, Sunday evening might be much better.

Jim's house should have plenty of room for some sort of gathering. For those of you that came to this years Vegas MKII Generation gathering.. He's about 20 minutes directly west of the Luxor.

Aaron, I'm sending you a PM.. My Cell# is in it.

Andy, you're going to find Las Vegas "very interesting"... Don't think you'll find anything like this in NZ...... :lol: :lol:

Well, Vegas tomorrow

Les and I will be leaving Albuquerque at around 9am. At the rate Les drives the red turbo it should take us around 10 hours to get there. So, 7 or 8pm Friday.

How will we contact the rest of you? Jim, Aaron? We do have Chris's number, but that's it. :?:

When are you guys planning to get together? When we leave will be partly determined by what you and Chris have planned. We are definately coming (wasn't sure for a while today) Car is a mess but we will be there so don't plan any S&S.
