Otherwise, I watched the peeps who were doing the various "flight recreations" on the History Channel.

I live here and can't even see the damn thing on TV. The tickets for the actual flight were not cheap or so I heard (plus it's raining).

I love this first flight crap. Ohio tries to claim it too because the Wright Brothers actually built the Wright Flyer in Dayton Ohio so in Dayton you have the USAF museum and Wright State University etc. Plus the ohio license plates before the current ones said 'Birthplace of Aviation.'

did you know that the wright brothers were actually born in indiana, which is really funny, you don't see them fighting over it, i'm from columbus and have always been told about the wright brothers and how ohians were first in flight, we have birthplace of aviation on our license plates where as north carolina has first in flight, i swear its like a war between states you here stuff about it all the time....and we have the wright-patterson air force base in dayton.......who cares.....some americans built a flyer and drove down to a windy beach so they could get it off the ground....cuz ohio weather sucks....

Just came back, saw a black MKII with C2 style wheels parked at the mall in DC.. Just by the old smithsonian building, and a white MKII with louvers on I95 or 664,, can't remember, that was on Thursday..

Anyone?

Oh, and it sucked..

Went to the new smithsonian annex at Dullas tho..

I like the USAF museum far more than the Smithsonian Air & Space exhibit. Just more variety. Plus where else can you see an SR-71, an F-22, and an F-117 all under one roof?

There was an f-22 flyby.. Too bad it was only 1 flyby..
