FS: 1986 Toyota Celica Supra 5spd $900

Hello everyone, the name is Dyllan. I have read on this forum alot but am now just making an account. I have a 1986 toyota supra for sale it is a 5spd.
196xxx miles.
stock wheels with 225 60 14 on front and 245 60 14 on the rear.
stock lsd that whines.
rear defogger isn't working.
headlights stay up.
sunroof works.
gutted in the rear but still have the pieces except the seats and rear carpet.
paint is old and oxidized.
I am located near tacoma, wa.

i thought 86 had the third light brake, i dont see it, are you sure is an 86? just asking

There is a possibility that the hatch was replaced due to rust. Or the light was removed, maybe. Or it is an 85 that was sold as an 86.... check the data plate on the drivers door, it has a build date and will clear things up.:thumbsup:

Mine is an 86 too and it says manufactured September of 85 I think and I've got the 3rd brake light so you probably had your hatch replaced or something.

Even if there originally was a 3rd mount brake light wouldn't there be a connection for it inside the car? I found one that wasn't hooked that is located on the right rear where the rear window washing fluid is, is that it?

Probably, been a few years since I had the hatch apart. Makes sense.

just a question, why gut the rear? Seems if you put all the plastics and the seat in a pile and weighed it it would maybe be 15-20 lbs..

Just not seein any real benefit to outweight the looks of it....

Anywho, still looks to be worthy of what you're askin-good luck.
