My gas cable is used and I would like to change the part of the cable wich is inside the rubber, this part only. Somebody ever done that kind of repair ?

never done that repair, but it sounds like you wanna find a wrecker and get the whold cable assembly. should only cost a few bucks and it should be easier than replacing a speedo cable: no crawling under the car
