Had to run open loop before, that Supra ran so hot I had to run the heater in summer - good thing for sunroofs. But I got sick of the sweat, so I bypassed the heater core, then one hot day was challenged to a race...it did not end well (BHG :duh:) ...I definitely know what it's like to chase those lost ponies.

I've been fortunate never to have overheating problems on my L-type (knock on wood). I have a pinhole leak in the rad, but since I've used this mod, haven't noticed any fluid loss. I have a spare rad, but I'll run with this until I feel the need to change. The Supra Simple mod could well have saved me an engine had I known it back then.

BTW the 1/2 Chimpy Kcf blanket works great...highly recommended :thumbsup:
