Getting her started again

I purchased my 83 celica Supra back in September and I have the usual problems like rust, sun damage etc. well the other day after a rainy night I went to go ahead and turn her on to check if the fog light bulbs were working and the fuse box in the engine bay started to smoke and i immediately stopped what I was doing, I’m guessing I would need to replace all the fuses? Or would it be something else? Also I need tips on getting her started I already replaced the fuel gauge sending unit and need to replace the fuel sock filter other than that what should I do to get her running she hasn’t ran since 2004😂 would love feedback thanks again

yeah it happened to smoke a bit wasn’t smoking the whole way only for a couple seconds.I’ve went ahead and checked the engine bay out and there is one wire I need to check out one more time it’s damaged, other than that cars only had 1 previous owner supposedly the lady would always take its to the dealership but husband mentioned he attempted to fix something and it didn’t work out, I’m gonna check it out tomorrow and see what’s going on. Anything else other than that I should check out?
yep super heavy rain unfortunately, I’ll check it out as well tomorrow thanks
Man I would love too but I’m not in the position financially at the moment so I’m trying to do whatever I can🫡, I got some things I could work on and I do have them in hand: fuel pump, oil filter and fuel injectors.
First thing I did when I received the car, of course it was rusted I went ahead and did a baking soda and vinegar wash multiple times until it was coming back clear.
The electrical is certinaly one problem, but if the car has truly been sitting since 2004, there is bound to be more. First off would to be drain ALL the fluids and replace ALL rubber hoses and lines, brake lines, rubber fuel lines, coolant hoses, power steering hoses, heater hoses,... EVERYTHING! then put in new fluids and flush them out, and new fluid again. Plan on replacing all the belts and replacing the timing belt, I would NOT skip this.

When I first got it I was able to use the dome light map, night etc and surprisingly the ac works so everything electronically was working but after it rained I believe that’s when water may have gotten in and got somewhere around the fuse box, I’m working on getting on the new lines at the moment, timing belt and the rest will be a must, already did the motor and radiator
