ive been reading some of the kill stories, some good stories there. before i go out and say 'i know a supra that smoked a (fill in car here), i should be able to also!', i know most if not all of them have mods on, so take the stories with a grain of salt, right? well, im interested in knowing just what you guys are running, so i'd have an idea as to how upgraded the car needs to be in order to do what the stories say. ive read signatures and looked some for spec posts, but with being so spread out in the forums, its difficult. could you guys post a list of mods and hp stats for the cars you ran, estimates are okay. also, is there any 'one stop specs thread' that i missed, as in a thread where the forum members listed out such specs? if not it would be a nice little bit of trivia to have, imho. thanks :)

personally, i think a "Specs thread" would be really cool.... if only i had something to boast.

mines a stock 82 P type, 245 tires, and an exhaust system... thats it thats all.

i think people in my city just cant drive worth a damn. :D

Redpra: Hamster in a spinning exercise wheel w/ the water bottle on the other end of the cage. Feeding it daily is a PITA tho...

Silver Slug: Giant rubber band wound up very tightly. Keep having to replace the rear brake pads every 5 days, but the instant torque response is phenominal.... Only negative side is when the rubber band breaks & leaves a giant bruise on my arm... Well, except for that 1 time it left a concussion on my noggin... :bonk: :imwithst:

what kind of kills? my stock 88 cressida wipes the floor with ricer cars and kept up with a badass 318 station wagon. and that's cuz my cams are prolly worn to half lift of stock and my valve-bounce comes into play at 5300rpm. my car don't peel out either. it skids the front tires i just gave up trying to peel out the only was i can do it is to revv the auto to 2500 and pop her in drive while i go heavy on the gas. then she breaks loose.

On mine I have the Basic upgrades you can do on a 6MGE: Intake, Headers, Exhaust, Port and Polished head, 3 angle valve job, and the AFM mod

All I can say is "I WANT A TURBO" I dont think the basic upgrades will cut it for many of us :(

ok ok i got 3 rats. but im going bigger i like the rubber band idea so im going to run it with my 3 rat powered monster. this way i will better TQ off the line and still have my top end. im gong with a tracter tire toobs for this so i should show good resolts. So far the only down side i can see is i will have to back down the track first to set the bands then i should be good to go. Gunning for 11ns with this set up. :snipersm: :3gears:

seems the 5m-rbe engine is popular among the dragsters here. looks like thats my best bet for performance!

as for the question about 'what kind of kills?' basically anyone who had posted on the kill stories board. I just wanted a rought idea of kills to specs, so i could compare and see what things I would need (roughly) to kill what kind of car.

ie,
car: 84 p-type
mods: 5m-rbe with 3 rat upgrade, cheddar cheese instead of stock
kills: shopping cart in a parking lot (it claimed it wasnt ready, i say its mad it lost to a superior machine)

things like that.
thanks for all the info/non-info guys :)
