An older project but havent seen it covered yet.
When you try and go and change a factory headlight without a doubt, there will be at least 1 out of 4 little screws that wont release the chrome bezel. How you get it out is up to you but I was so pissed off that I removed the whole assembley. Stripped and repainted it and then used marine stainless steel fasteners to put it back together.
Got them from Canadian Tire for 0.20 a piece.
A year and one headlight ago. Works like a dream/

Hey folks,
Just remember that using stainless hardware in a mild steel application will help you to get the screw out easier, but will corrode the surrounding material as the stainless anode, corrodes the milder cathodic light surround. If it were a good idea...at least in the long run TOYOTA would have done this. Lots of private pilots/owners do this, putting stainless screws in ALUMINUM panels. Now that's bad news, these guys don't realize there's no side of the road at 3000 feet
