Hmmm.... Not sure about that. My 2 1982 Supras were both parts cars that I never drove, so I don't know how they worked.
Check your owners manual (glovebox manual), on page 3 or 4. It explains how they work.

SuprAlaska, what's with the 2-tone plastic interior piece in that picture above? Never seen anything like that. At first I thought you had painted it that way, but then the access panel is also 2-tone. Is it just the lighting? What's up and how about a wider picture of that interior?

Uhhmmmm Picture looks pretty normal to me....

Upper half where the plastic is, is the side panel.

Lower half where the carpet is, is the hatch carpeting on the floor. My carpeting does this (lays up against the side panels) unless you push it down so that it's flush on the floor.

Back to the origional topic of headlight washers. Does anyone know where I can get a good set of the 90 degree check valves for the lines. The ones I have are bad and just let the fluid run out.

Yes, it's just the sunlight shining on the plastic.
