hello i have a mk1 celica supra. anyways no heat in the car or there wasnt. My mechanic told me to replace this water valve , (its been jimmyrigged right now. But can someone i dentify this for me? i went through my haynes

It's the heater control valve / water valve. They were available brand new even a few years ago but a part out might be your best bet.

Should be for a Automatic A/C MA46

Maybe part number 88670-14030

I would try applying vacuum to the top of the valve to see if water passes thru the valve before throwing parts at it. Its a little complicated since the valve is controlled by a vacuum solenoid and there is a hole bunch of stuff behind that can go wrong. You should just be able to bypass the valve so at least you have hot air for the winter.
