Theres one particular set of lights i usually end up racing at on my way home - low cop area, and the right lane dissapears about half a km past the lights, so you always know who won. Tonight, an early 90s Ford Escort "GT", all tinted out and with some goofy aftermarket rims, pulls up beside me and starts revving. I figured he had been the guy who was parked on my bumper in a left turn lane earlier on, so i lessoned him a bit. He was still crossing the intersection when I hit 3rd, a good eight or ten car lengths ahead of him. Just out of curiosity, anyone ever seen a Cosworth escort in N. America? I saw one in Vancouver last summer, and its the only one Ive ever seen on the street.

i know of two escort cossies in edmonton, both are dedicated rally cars which occasionally (illegally???) see the streets.

there is one cosworth sierra (merkur xr4ti) in town too, but other than that, im not sure, id assume theres maybe 1 or 2 more cosworths scattered in calgary, there are a bunch of rally fiends down there.

I don't know if it was of not, I'm guessing no, but I passed the right body style on the freeway as he took the offramp. PLate said "BOOSTED" and it had a HUGE exhaust making not very much noise at all.... Had Washington plates....I think. It was a while ago.
