Hi everyone! I was reminiscing the other day about how much fun I had driving my 1981 Toyota Celica Supra. So I searched for a while and was having problems finding information on the type of Supra I had. I can't find any of them for sale and am having difficulty finding many pictures.

My step-father found the car for me when I was 16 - boy was I excited. Well a few weeks after owning it, I was run off the road on the way to school by another vehicle and the Supra ended up flipping end over end and rolling a few times before coming to a stop in a farmers field. Both of the passengers were fine, but the car was totalled. :sadsmilie

Since I can't find any pictures from when I bought the car, I dug up a few of the post-accident pictures and decided to post them online.

If you have any information about the car, production numbers, and the "extras" that were installed on it - please pass it along. If possible, I'd like to find another one of these again someday.

Thanks!

Let me be the first to welcome you to CS.com forum!

That was quite the crash, mangled - sorry for your loss. Lucky you weren't hurt bad...

You can often find some nice scores on eBay or Craigslist if you keep your eyes peeled and know what to look for (get a good education here first). Members often post their finds or 'for sale' vehicles.

Happy hunting!

Thanks for the welcome and well wishes everyone! We were lucky - both me and my passenger walked away from the car.

Unfortunately I do not still have the car for parts - it's been almost 14 years since the accident. I've considered combing the local yards for the car to see what kind of shape its in.

I'll keep my eyes peeled in the forums for deals - and I've got an alert setup on eBay just in case one pops up there.

Looks to have been a Perf Package car, and in excellent condition to boot. Try to stick to the 81 model year, as there were several minor upgrades made to the car, including engine displacement.

man i just threw up a little.:sadsmilie glad you guys were ok. i found myself a 81 performance pac that had been in a similar accident in 92 and had been in the scrap yard since 94 so there is a chance of finding one in a yard somewhere.
