welcome to the forum, you've come to the right place. you'll find almost all your answeres by searching on here. most of it has been answered before.

which type of celica do you have? is it a solid rear axle? if so, then you need to swap in the rear axle from an MKI supra, and then you can use an LSD 4.30 or 4.10 diff from a MKII.

you should also check out celica-gts.com for another good forum with more info about the celica itself.

If the Celica is a solid rear axle not IRS you could swap it out with one from a truck. Toyota, Ford, etc. I think that would be easiest thing to do if a MK1 rear end was not available. Just weld new mounts. Most 2WD Toyota and Ford trucks are 5x114.3, so just swap the front hubs with those from a Nissan or Mitsubishi to match. It'll give you more wheel selection also.

Good luck and please post pics of the car. I'm sure many like myself would love to see your results.
