ok so i bought an 86 supra, MK11 style, and i am just wonderin what the base hp is on those, i dropped in my lower Km engine from my previous supra, 5 speed of course :p ne ways just wonderin what kinda numbers they lay down, i did rape my buddies 98 GTI VR6 so just curious cuz i know he lays down 170 to the crank, thanx

Dragonfire is correct. What year did the other motor come out of?? If it's another 85 or 86, then the same numbers are still correct. If it's a different year, then you need to be specific.

Okay, now for another question......

Since it came out of a 84, do you happen to know if it was a 5 speed or a Automatic???

(BTW, VanCity?? Someone did ask earlier if you are in Washington, or Canada??? Reason why).

On the US 84's, the 5-speed cars got the 160 hp 163 tq motors. On the Automatics, they got the 150 hp, 155 tq motor from the 1983 model year. I'm still trying to determine if the Canadian Spec MKII's were like this as well.

It's also possible that the compression in the 84 motor was better than the 85 (had less wear on the motor)??
