My stock clutch (which is within specs as of 10 000 km ago) will slip if I drop at more than about 3500 with fresh tires, and ive only got minor engine mods, so Im guessing any large torque increase will require an upgraded clutch. As for the tranny, didn't I read that Reg Reimer is running the stock w58 in his 400+ hp 7m-gte powered 82? I would also wonder about things like tranny mounts and the center-bearing mount for the driveshaft. The stock rubber ones might not take a lot of bashing around at 300+ hp.
