While i was replacing the fuel pump i noticed i had a lot of crud in my tank. I even had some clumpy stuff come out while i was draining it. how do i clean the inside so all this stuff gets out? also how can i tell if my fuel line is clogged with out the pump installed? I just want to make sure there is no crud in the fuel line before i get the pump back in.

thanks jeremy

I was told I could take the tank and use a pressure washer on it inside and out. But after washing it you have to make sure you get all the water out of it immediatly because it will begin to rust right away.

Also, water + engine = bad. After you do wash the tank out, run some water removing through the fuel system.
