My 83 Supra has alot of miles, and as I read these forums there seems to be alot of W58's across many years. I just want to know what would be a direct drop in MT. Can I use an MT from a MKIII? ( or a low mileage MT from a JDM importer) .

I did swap my rear end from an automatic and I couldnt get it lined up right. I may have bent up that upper shroud up. so I had to oval out some of the holes with a grinder to get the bolts in. Now my tailshaft is banging hard when i hit bumps and let the clutch out..

You can use either another W58 from a MKII, a W58 from a 82 - 85 RA Celica (just swap out the RA bellhousing for a MA bellhousing), or a MKIII Non-Turbo W58 (not the Turbo R154).

 Will the MK2 lever and linkage work and bolt right up? If so this would make the most sense to me, cause i alway ssee grandmas driving them :D , plus they are likely to have much less miles/abuse...
