JUST GOT MY CAR BACK HAVE'NT DRIVEN IT IN 3 MONTHS

Thats right i been with out my baby for 3 months, and my mechanic finished it today, despite all the problems and such, its done my 6mge is in, no egr, got the 3000 intake plenum, and let me tell you it feels like a new car.

The new 88 supra alternator is working awesome, its chargin at like a constent 14.5 volts, and it has very little change when my lights are on an my system. its plain awesome :evil:

Well today i got a call in tha morning and it was my mechanic, he said the engine was'nt starting and i got very worried and i told him to check it out, so he check the timing belt and that was the problem called me a couple hours later and said that it was done the engine was in and it was starting. so i get of my ass go to the mechanic see it and i was like wow, he rev it a little and it was so nice to here it, the old engine made nasty noices, vibrated a lot, but this 6m was so nice.

well its not done yet they still have to fix the power steering but i took it for a week to drive it around :mk2vroom: don't worry im used to no power steering been driven my supra like that for 8 months now.

well my new act clutch stage one is very nice, it engauges imidietly, its kinda stiff but no biggie :3gears: and believe be i can definate fill the power of the 6m over my tired 5m

IM so damn happy :humpleg:

Great news bud good to hear. Must be nice to have changed to 6m,
So buy using the 88supra alternator, will it require the use of an 88supra batt or can you continue to use the one from the 5m?

I havent driven my blackpra since early may this summer :crying: :violin: :drinking:

Mine has been in 7MGTE transplant mode since 4th of July. I really have not driven it much in two years. Will make up for lost time next summer.

me too, I just got my blackpra up and running now

. After almost 5 months :x

Seriously, i know that the wait is worth it. Im looking foreward as hell to sit behind the wheel of my 7M powered baby and just cruise away. Im a little bit ancious though. What if on my first day of driving her, me or some other jerk manages to crash into my lovely supra? I got theese re-accuring nightmeras man.

yeah i used the same battery its a duralast gold, and the new alt is working perfectly, the only problem is my cd player ain't working thats been turned off for like 4 months, so it may be that, or the new alternator, any ideas what could be wrong with it

yep the wait was well worth it, it runs like a new car lol, all i need now is to fix my power steering

is it leaking, thats the reason why my blackpra was down for so long, I also had to smog it and get it aligned

yeah my power steering had a bad leak,so i took the belt off and havent used it for like 8 months and stuff
