Becareful with the engine knock. I experienced that with my old 85 motor before I blew the piston head off of #3 doing 200km/h. I used to get lots of knocking at high speeds.
Start by using the best gas possible (highest octane). If that doesn't help it then just baby the car and it should get u by, unless you wanna tear the engine down and rebuild.
